چکیده
We prove a law of the iterated logarithm for stable processes in a random scenery. The proof relies on the analysis of a new class of stochastic processes which exhibit long-range dependence.

Some Probability Inequalities for Quadratic Forms of Negatively Dependent Subgaussian Random Variables
In this paper, we obtain the upper exponential bounds for the tail probabilities of the quadratic forms for negatively dependent subgaussian random variables. In particular the law of iterated logarithm for quadratic forms of independent subgaussian random variables is generalized to the case of negatively dependent subgaussian random variables.
متن کاملAsymptotic Behaviors of the Lorenz Curve for Left Truncated and Dependent Data
The purpose of this paper is to provide some asymptotic results for nonparametric estimator of the Lorenz curve and Lorenz process for the case in which data are assumed to be strong mixing subject to random left truncation. First, we show that nonparametric estimator of the Lorenz curve is uniformly strongly consistent for the associated Lorenz curve. Also, a strong Gaussian approximation for ...
متن کاملOn the Law of the Iterated Logarithm for Local Times of Recurrent Random Walks
We consider the law of the iterated logarithm (LIL) for the local time of one-dimensional recurrent random walks. First we show that the constants in the LIL for the local time and for its supremum (with respect to the space variable) are equal under a very general condition given in Jain and Pruitt (1984). Second we evaluate the common value of the constants, as the random walk is in the domai...
متن کاملChover-type Laws of the Iterated Logarithm for Weighted Sums of Na Sequences
Abstract. To derive a Baum-Katz type result, a Chover-type law of the iterated logarithm is established for weighted sums of negatively associated (NA) and identically distributed random variables with a distribution in the domain of a stable law in this paper.
متن کاملOn Sample Functions Behavior of Stable Processes
We investigate the asymptotic behavior of sample functions of stable processes when t→∞. We compare our results with the iterated logarithm law, results for the first hitting time and most visited sites problems. 1 Main Notions 1. Let X1, X2... be mutually independent random variables with the same law of distribution F (x). The distribution F (x) is called strictly stable if the random variabl...
